Cancer Conversations Community Interest Company

Improving Cancer Literacy. Empowering Communities. Reducing Inequalities.

Cancer Conversations CIC is a community interest company dedicated to improving cancer awareness, building trust, and reducing inequalities in cancer outcomes among ethnic minority and underserved communities.

Cancer Conversations CIC was founded because too many people continue to experience poorer cancer outcomes because of who they are, where they live, the communities they belong to, or the barriers they face in accessing information and healthcare.

We believe conversations save lives.

By bringing communities and healthcare professionals together, we create trusted spaces where people can learn, ask questions, challenge myths and improve cancer outcomes.

OUR FOUNDERS

Cancer Conversations CIC was co-founded by Dr Olubukola Ayodele and Prof Oladejo Olaleye, two clinicians united by a shared belief that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to prevent, detect and survive cancer.

Drawing on their combined clinical expertise, commitment to public engagement and passion for reducing health inequalities, they established Cancer Conversations CIC to create trusted spaces where communities, healthcare professionals, researchers and policymakers can work together to improve cancer literacy, empower communities and reduce inequalities in cancer care.

While bringing complementary expertise and perspectives, both founders share a common vision: that meaningful conversations, built on trust and partnership, can transform cancer outcomes.
